The applicant must meet the following requirements to be considered for a scholarship award.
Scholarships will be made available to dependants of current and retired members of I.A.F.F. Local 1352.
Scholarship money shall be used for the sole purposes of tuition and/or books.
Scholarship intended for use in Undergraduate-level education or its equivalent.
Applicants must attend an accredited University, Community College, or Trade School. (Scholarship Selection Committee has complete and final decision on approving the educational institution.)
The applicant must not have been convicted of any felony crime.
The Scholarship Selection Committee will be comprised of the Benevolent Fund Board of Directors. I.A.F.F. Local 1352 Executive Board shall have complete and final ruling over any disputes arising out of the Ken Partridge Scholarship application process.
Recipients will be selected by a consideration of:
Previous academic performance
Community involvement (Volunteer work, community service, etc.)
